Will This be a good cpu system?

I'll use it for Music recording "Sonar 2.2" ,games etc.

never noticed that there wasent an Audio card (to speak of) in that system..
How about this one ? to much maybe ?
well A Herc. FortissimoIII would do nice too, I guess, I would never change mine for any CL !!

Duh ! What a Doofus I am !

It has onboard sound for games I figure.
Plus I will put in a Echo Audio Mia 24/96
soundcard.and Midiman USB 2x2 for connection
to my GenetX 2 guitar processor. All other sound
will be from sample cd's !

looks nice to me. you'll like the 865pe chipset on the mobo same as mine on a abit is7-e.if your planning on using the onboard sound i'd think again.use an internal sound card it will be much better.

Ah yes that is a nice sound system.
sample CD's ? my Brother (it's the skinny one with the Tom Anderson guitar)
who'd used to play in a band, was always a fan of the newsservers midi's

to me having a audigy 2 yes.

have this as a comparison a stereo costing £100 or a stereo cost £1000 which would you prefer.

onboard sound is adequate just don't expect it to be outstanding.

but as i am going by my mobo sound ac'97 5.1 is very poor.

HMM, Everything is great except the RAM, well actually its not that bad.

But you def. wanna look in to a better sound card, like the Audigy 2 Platinum, or MAUDIO Revolution 7.1, or the Fortissimo III.
