nf7-s rev 2.0 nb fan, noisy

has anybody else modded this to a passive heatsink as it causes too much noise?

i want to get my pc quiter and i'm running out of ideas for the noise generator, at the moment i'm thinking of passive cooling the nb and ti4200 to get rid of all possible noise sources

anybody else done this are anybody know how much noise it generates?

right now i'm I'm useing this.. since the fan is larger its quiter and of a diffrent tone. The factory coolers get really noisy after a while and die too often.

yeah i'm looking at passive cooling my nb with that zalaman heatsin, i just ask as knowing my luck it won't be the thing making the noise
