Boot Problem - MSI PT800 Neo

Hello I guys I am having a problem getting my new system to boot off of anything. I have tried booting off of a bootable floppy, and Windows XP cd, nogo. The HD, CDROM drive and FD all are seen fine in the bios. I have test each drive in another system and can boot to them with no problems. I have disable SATA in the bios since the HD is IDE, nothing. I also disable the network boot. I have reset the cmos by moving cmos jumper on the mb and tried all again, nothing. I disabled the quick boot and let it go through checking the memory etc and it is all fine until it looks for something to boot off of. I also tried using just the boot menu instead of going into the bios and manually setting boot sequence, nogo. It just locks up.

Any help on this would be great. I don't know what else to try.

Thank you

I have tried the only two that are needed to install windows. With XP the FD is really not even needed. I made a Windows ME bootable floppy just to have something other than the XP cd that was bootable. When installing XP cdrom is first then afterwards it does not matter. Since most newer systems have a quick boot menu ie hit F11 and you can choose which device you want to boot from, there is not a real urgency to set it manually in the bios, but I did try either way. The point is I cannot get this system to boot from any bootable media. The HD is blank. I did however for kicks and grins debug it on another system and put a FAT 32 partition on it. I guess I could preload XP on that HD on another system. I just didn't know if someone here was familiar with that MSI motherboard and the bios it uses. Maybe there is a simple setting I am missing. Then again

System Specs

Donator
There should be a setting called "Boot from other device" or something on the same section as the boot order. Make sure that is enabled but this sure is weird

Yeah that option was enabled to. It was the MB. Took the system back where we purchased most of the parts. They put a new MB in and it booted up fine. Thanks
