System Specs

Sad 9NDA3+......Problem

Well I've got my new A64 system up and running, but have run into a problem. I could use some advice and help. I'll try to keep this short.

I had very little trouble assembling and then installing the software for this moverboard. My problems started when I began to install the two USB peripherals I use on this computer. One is a Lexmark Z45 printer and the other is an HP Scanjet 2200c scanner. As soon as I plugged in the USB cable to one of the USB ports on the motherboard, my mouse began acting very erractic, actually freezing at times. When I would unplug the USB cable the mouse pointer on my desktop would return to normal. I finally tried another mouse that my I have on my kids computer and it worked with no problems when I plugged in the USB cables. OK, I got the mouse problem fixed, but now with all the plugging in and unplugging the USB cables from the motherboard, the USB ports have quit working. Nothing I've tried will activate them.

My questions are these. Am I screwed and I won't be able to get these USB ports working again, or is there a way to get them working again. Epox Tech Support has been of no help whatsoever. Any help or suggestions would be very welcome about now. You guys here at driverheaven have been a big help in the past, I'm hoping for a repeat performance.
