Good Motherboard to get?

Hey, im thinking about making a new, nice gaming, system.

Now, I am looking at motherboards;
Im looking at the Athlon 64 3000 or 3200 for processor
DDR Ram
Ati X800 Vid card

Now I was looking around at different motherboards, but not sure about which to get. If you could recommend some good motherboards for gaming, that would be awesome!

Will decide on price later (something at least decently reasonable).

Thanks

ASUS "K8V" K8T800 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket 754 CPU or
DFI "LANPARTY UT nF3 250Gb" NVIDIA nForce3 250GB Chipset

and any other suggestons are welcome

I'm really partial to ABIT boards. They always test well in benchmarks and have some really nice o'clocking features.

I`ve got no problem with this Mobo. I would recommend it, very stabile, many features and also good for overclocking.

In case of any confusion . . . the phrase "X is the shit" is slang meaning "X is great"
Don't ask me why.

I must ask why your discussing S754 when S939 is the buzz at the moment?

Cheap 3200 winchester/MSI neo2 Platinum = almost an FX55 (if you get good silicon and put some good cooling in there).

I think this lexiconic use of 'shit' seems to be the result of a perfect storm of 'shizzle my nizzle' from a few years back AND ebonics/hip hop deliberate corruption of queen's english grammar rules (e.g. double negatives).

I'm still trying to figure out when "all that and a bag o' chips" went out of style...
