recommend Asus A8V Deluxe
Asus A8V Deluxe is selling for ~ $150 Canadian. Assuming ~$120 USD w/ exchange, I'd argue the $20 is worth it over your budget.
Onboard sound, SATA, RAID, gigabit ethernet, plus Asus quality. I've built 3 systems with this board, all we fine out of the box. (one got fried after the fact)

I don't know the Prices where you are, but the Abit AV8 is a nice motherboard, and the MSI K8N Neo2 is also a very solid motherboard. I have them both and like them very much...

np, glad i could help. good luck.
btw, there are other good boards out there. here's a review of a few: http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=2128 u should pick the best board depending on what features u want and what u plan to do with ur system, i.e overclock etc... edit: a few other good online retailers are: newegg.com and zipzoomfly.com |
