Hi all --can anyone recommand a nice Motherboard for Pentium 4 2.8GHz 533FSB 512cache HT SL6PF 478 Northwood cpu with a 9700 pro. I looking to buy a new mobo --willing to spend around $100 bucks --give or take abit

I would look at an 865PE chipset. Perfect board would be the Abit AI7. I believe they sell new for 100.00. The IC7 is a 875P chipset for about 40.00 more. Get two sticks of memory and run dual channel.

if you are looking to also buy a video card get an asus P4gd1. it is the only MOBO that I found that supports PCI-E with a socket 478 processor
