Mac G5 Built In Ethernet malfunction

Hello,

Just wanted to warn anyone interested in buying 2.0 dual processor G5s that the built-in Ethernet ports Don't Work. You will have to buy the PCI ethernet card in addition to it. Apple will not acknowlege that this problem exists, but it's all over the internet in forums.

We bought 3 G5s where I work and none of the Ethernet ports work. We bought one of them with an extra card by mistake and that's the only way it will work. Good thing we did that. Apple want to come out to our company and look at them and fix them and charge us by the hour for being here. It's cheaper and faster to just buy the stupid card.

Apple dealers are such scam artists, all the ones I know so far are.
