Socket 478 for Intel 915GL chipset

well i have a 3ghz prescott and a 2.4ghz northwood processors

one board has gone in faulty so i was thinking is a cheap solution

so i finallly read abt this Socket 478 for Intel P4 processor with Intel 915GL chipset

its good enuf, packed with features and above all cheap

i dun have a big budget and i wodnt upgrade to a completely new sys

so wht do u guys think

shld i buy some 865 mobo or get this from ASROCK

check this mobo and plz gimme some reviews of it

I personally wouldn't touch ASRock mobos, even though they're a subsidary to ASUS... Look into the ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe. That's feature rich. If you're lucky, try getting a ASUS P5GD1. I have yet to see one of these bad boys. The only downside to this board is the lack of SATA RAID . I mean putting in ICH6R would have just made this board perfect.
