Different bios

Hi,
Maybe a stupid question (I think I already know the answer) but is it possible to use a different motherboard manufacturers bios on my asrock K8S8X? I've got very little overclocking options in my bios ie memory ratios and voltages

not advisable to attempt it....all you will most likely do is fux up you're startup sequence and mke the mobo useless untill it is re-flashed with the correct bios.if you have limited options in the bios then these will never change regardless to bios updates,all updates only going by the norm fix stability issues or add compatibility to newer hardware to make the mobo last longer.
