hi.
i have an asus a7s333 motherboard. i want to install usb 2.0 now i have service pack 2 installed, but usb 1.1 hasn't changed to usb 2.0 and there is no usb 2.0 driver for updating my board on the asus home page. how can i use usb 2.0? is there any alternative driver that can update my board? please help.. windows xp contains usb 2.0 drivers form service pack 1 upwards.

Dont know about your motherboard but, you may have an option in the BIOS to turn on/off the usb2 controller. If it is turned off, all the ports will default to 1.1
Windows will automatically install the correct drivers so I would guess that this is your problem. |
