Serial ATA

I know that Serial ATA is now included on MoBo's but what about the HDD's!!!! Anyone see one around?

I needed a new HDD, cos my 40Go HDD was completely full, and I looked after the Barracuda V from Seagate, which can be bought in native Serial ATA version, but when I saw the price I decided to go for the WD 1200JB !!!!!

They were (the Barracuda V) at 400€ a piece

In a way yes, and thank you. However, is there a webpage or somthing that alows purchase of such for import to the US? I would LOVE to have one.

I'm sorry to report some bad news.....
I've spend TWO WHOLE WEEKS just to find out that the only way I could buy this disc was abroad (The Netherlands or France, the first being cheaper than the second).....

I looked using pricewatch sites and sending e-mails to the stores who seemed to have it..... you might try there

Btw, I've read that the S-ATA version would be for selling in the USA in December (but it could be a rumour)....
