logitech mx518
l have a logitech mx1000,was thinking of getting a mx518 for gaming,would it be better than the mx1000,or is there much of difference

Depends. Are you having issues with gaming with the MX1000 now? If not, I wouldn't bother.
If I were buying a new mouse though, I'd pick up the MX518 for the great bang/buck.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. If you can game without it then don't worry about it, I feel like the DPI switching feature is really for those too lazy/unable to adjust on their own. And realistically it's hard to do it on the fly if you don't know what's gonna happen.

sometimes l feel the mx1000 is a slight bit slow in fast reaction when l need it,might be software,who knows

heard about the switching ,can be tricky.read somewhere where some gamers had to slow down mx518

only consern is l don't want to loose my mx1000 as its a great mouse and don't know if l can have both hooked up at same time with same software
