new case choice

was looking at new case ,got a chieftec full tower 6 months ago,was hoping for better cooling with it.its 3 degrees cooler than antec case.was looking at coolermaster stacker and thermaltake armour cases.both full towers and both btx upgrade.the stacker would be 60 euros more for stacker and over 100 euros if l had to get what l need ,as most things like modules to hold harddrives are extra.so what you think

the stacker would be my pick. while i do not have one(yet) i love its design/flexability

both the armor and the stacker look great. I have the centurion. If you were willing spend the money, obviously check out lian li's cases.

v10000 nice case,looking for bigger,like stacker or armour.both cases are 550 in depth which which help me distance the drive bays and mobo from each other,which my friend did,hence better cooling and performance.pro and cons to both.the biggest prob is a lot of things you need which should be included with these cases are extra,like modules to hold h-drives and also hold a 120 fan,other wise no easy way to mount without a lot of modding in end take from case.like the armour,not like the useless doors,plus the btx upgrade is a bit of jke with the case as most supplyers don't have.this is where the stacker wins ,you have btx,only to change back of case around by removeing 15 screws and fitting and resembleing it,but again modules for drives are extra,plus stacker cost between 65-100 euros extra for these items to mount drives and side panel door,extra also,this is downside of stacker,just some of the downside of stacker and armour.also was looking at thermalrock circle case,little like armour.10 mm short in depth and 30 mm short in high

The Kandalf is basically the Armor case, but with a different case door. Besides I think the door on the Kandalf is butt ugly

Well I didn't say that. I haven't really read up on the Stacker. A lot of people here and other places rave about it, so it must be a good case. The TT Armor case drew me in with its sexy looks, so I went in that direction. The case isn't perfect though, so I would suggest you read some reviews on both the stacker and armor case and decide which one has the features you want and which one doesn't have some features you want, BUT can live without them.

Yes I did find my AGP card was a bit loose with the clips. Wasn't loose at all with my Tsunami case. No the BTX upgade didn't come with the case. I believe that is sold separately, although I could be wrong.
