checking Nvram Sloooooooooooowwww
Ive been doing some Oc'ing on my system recently, and ive noticed that my post takes forever.
I usually says "nvidia blah blah" then refreshes with AMI bios and the 2.6 @ 3.25ghz and this and that then i says "Checking NVRAM..." and stops.. for a good 20 seconds, then it says update ok and continures or i go into the setup but what could cause it to slow down? Ive never seen this before (ie, it blinks past it) I have a Asus p4p-800 with Corsair XMS3200 ram, and i did reset the bios and that had no affect on it. I read it could be a low voltage issue with the CMOS battery and causing it to read it slower or more times till it gets the whole data, but my settings are always stored even after a power off. Course this did happen after i swapped PSUs so .. Thoughts? Thanks =D |
