It's normally very easy until you get to the cable arrangement. Just shut the computer down. Turn off the old supply at it's switch and/or unplug it from the back. Hold in the power button for 10 seconds to discharge every thing. Then simply swap out the supplies. Just remember try spread out the items out, don't put too many items on one cable.

I didn't meand to offend you by what I've said. Any one who doesn't remember how he/she exactly layed out their power wiring can be confused. No matter how my systems they have built.

Drakon will become famous soon enough

Donator
It's pretty simple. Just disconnect everything from the old PSU. Unscrew it from the back of the case. Line up the new PSU and screw it back in. Once that is done, you can figure out the wiring. Oh btw, you can reset your bios and remove the battery for a few hrs to make sure you don't have any issues with the new PSU. This isn't necessary though

Just let everyone know I was amused and not insulted by the responses and appreciated the advice,,,,I was trying to respond with humor

Changing the power supply was easy because I followed the advice not to disconnect the old supply from the drives etc and then replace each cable series one at a time,
Thanks everyone!
