Stupid nforce2 Question

To use this motherboard do you actually have to use two memory sticks in it?

DarkFoss is on a distinguished road

I downloaded the asus pdf manual and saw this

To enhance system performance, utilize dual-channel feature
when installing additional dimms.Install dimms in any of the following sequence: sockets 1&3, 2&3 1&2&3.

I'd assume that the board will run with only one dimm just won't have the benefit of dual-channel.

Opps. I wasn't refering to my motherboard I mean any nforce2 motherboard.

So going off of what Drive says you can use just one ram stick but you need two (duh) for the dual channel op. I just wondered if it required you to have two sticks.
