i don't have that type of error in my device manager and i don't think it has anything to do with the monitor. i think PDIs are modems but i'm not sure

I just noticed something in my Device Manager. I'm assuming it has something to do with the L90D+ since it wasn't there before I installed the monitor. It reads like this.

Class for PdiPorts devices

PDI Kernel Ports Device Driver

Both these lines have the yellow question marks in front of them. What am I missing or what did I forget to install?

I'll remote connect home and let you know in a sec if I have those.
[EDIT] Nope, nothing here either. I'll do a bit of searching.
[EDIT] Looks like it might be an audio thing. Did you use/plug in your LCD's speakers? I know these wouldn't trigger a driver installation but from what I could find, those seem to relate to audio in some way. I might be totally off though, I found very, very little.

Thank you for taking the time to try and help me out, but I guess it was a false alarm. I e-mailed Hyundai about these listings in my Device Manager. Here's the reply I received tonight from them when I got home.

Hi Jeffery,

Thank you for the inquiry. The icon you see is similar to the yellow exclamation point that you will see for problematic hardware. However it is not the same icon. I can assure you that this was just a poor icon choice on our part. Future versions of the ImageTune will have a different icon in the device manager.

We do apologize for the confusion.

Hah hah! That's so cheap of them! Oh well, at least it was a no-BS response. Gotta love that!

you were right in that sometimes it's too bright and sometimes it's too dark. I find the problem is that the white is waaaaaaaaaaay too bright. i've set brightness to 44 and contrast to 37 and at destop it views pretty ok for me now. grays are still a little dark but at least the whites aren't blinding anymore
