939 Venice core+ DDR pc3200 kit = WTF?

Let sees what you think

that 1/2 is the slots for Dual channel and it work fine... But I was pulling my
hair out for a tad bit figuring out what was going on and why I couldn't get dual
channel...

The manual does state for dual channel 1/3 or 2/4 are used as with most
if not all dual channel boards I've worked with to date...

I'm happy I got working though, (got a nice 3k more pionts in 3dmark 2001se)
so much for the people that say dual channel desn't account for much.

This is somewhat strange I'd say...

Why? Your hardware is obviously a lot newer than Windows you are running, so I think it can be expected not to always work out of the box.

Tthis is the boards doing, or the CPU's
(Doubt it has much to do with windows XP sp2)

The manual surely doesn't match up and I never
seen a board the does dual channel in slot 1&2
3&4 and not the regular 1&3 2&4
