DualChannel is a function so' you no need special ram to enable this function . Some ram are sold at higher price with the mention it works on DualChannel; its because it comes from the same batch and they have been tested to works with dualchannel enable. Sometimes even if you buy 2 stick of the same brand wich arent specified it could lead to some problem . I myself run 2 non-certified stick but, same brand of ram on dualchannel flawlessly . Just give it a try!

Dual-channel RAM is basically two pairs of "regular" RAM that have been paired together to ensure compability when used in dual-channels. They don't have any special function, they simply have been tested to ensure they work. You could risk it and buy two sticks at the same time and hope they work, or you can buy the kit which is oftenly a few dollars more but well worth it. This is a function that has to be supported by your motherboard.
