RAID0 - How does it work?

Been planning on picking up two 36g Raptor drives in a few weeks and I want to stick them in RAID0 but I'm not too sure how I would do that exatly, nor if my motherboard/chip supports that function.

PC's specs are in the sig, and you can click on the component for the maker's page with specs.

So my questions are:
  1. Is my motherbaord/chipset/CPU able to run RAID0 SATA drives?
  2. How is that done/setup?

your motherboard DOES support it. setup differs from motherboard to motherboard so you should read your mobo manual. in general you just set the desired RAID configuration in an utility that is accesible when your computer boots.

Would I need to physically plug the drives together with some sort of connector, or set Primay/Slave?
