I would like to know how it's doing now. Are you still having problems?

An update for what happened.

oh I got all working...

BIOS

http://forum.msi.com.tw/index.php?topic=84799.0

yeah thats the link to the enitre headache...syar MSI guy was very helpful.

next i am gonna try his BIOS in the future.

the problem was bios 1.9 compatibility with nvidia drivers that come along with MSI and/or avail from MSI website.

I had to create my own drivers off nvidias UDP from their own site...that ultimately got it to work.

I think i'll wait until the bugs are worked out with the new bios from msi and nvidia's drivers, if I decide to switch to a X2...

Talk about an eye opener. Was going to pick up an X2 in a few weeks but this makes me think twice about it now.

Dark why do you want to run the memory out of sync of the processor? You get more performance out of a 1:1 ratio. However, overclocking the processor will net you a better performance increase than overclocking the ram. BTW, what is your HT multiplier set at?
