Pissed What is going on with ASUS?????

I just received a P4C800-E to replace the P4P800 that I burnt.
What the heck!!!
THIS CARD IS TOTAL CRAP! Completely unstable. I had to reverse to 4 BIOS back before I could get it running. Now I'm not even sure I can complete this message without a crash. Basically it keeps telling me that I have wrong overclocking parameters while everything is standard or Auto. The BIOS used to have many translations and now there are only English and German. This really leaves an impression of draft pre-alpha version. I had to set all timing parameters manually otherwise the so called AI would choose wrong parameters.
Very disappointing from ASUS. I used to be very happy with the P4P800. Donnow what's going on with this company????

Really? Never had any major problems with ASUS before. Bought three boards: P4R800-VM, P4P800E-DX and another much older one and never had any BIOS issues. P4P800 is probably the best board I've ever had and several of my friends have it too and are very happy with it. Can't say I've heard much about the P4C800 however.

OT: Blazer recently did a reversal of what you did. What do you mean by "translations"?

Asus are by far the most stable boards i have used. Never had a single problem with them ever.

A reversal?

Translations = many languages for the BIOS. Actually this is not too much of an issue. I mean I can use the BIOS in english but it used to have many translations and now I can only see two languages, whatever BIOS version I load.
