Hi, I have Intel D915GAV MOBO, Socket: LGA775 which becomes very hot within 15 minutes if I ran games. I check Cooling fan and it woks fine. I also check whether any cables or something hinderence the air. But there is no hinderence.
The software (Desktop Utility) that was provided with MOBO states that, temperature of zone 1 exceed the recommended temperature. So what should I do? Please Help.....

You sure it's the MoBo and not something else, like your CPU? MoBos are usually of no concern for heat issues

I agree, I would say spend 40 bucks more (if u can't figure it out) for a new CPU fan, cause those suckers get pretty hot at stock.

Run some games and when you get the warning...reboot into the bios and check the temps that reports.software is not always accurate.
But as already mentioned..... it is more likely going to be the cpu overheating than the motherboard. |

It's probably the cpu doing the heating, but check the northbridge chipset as well...make sure it's heatsink/fan is not getting too hot and is making good contact.

I don't see where you stated exactly what the temperature is that's giving the warning. I'm wondering, though, if the warning limit is set too low. I had that happen a few mobos ago when I got my first P4. I was used to setting the warning limit around 60 or so. Then I found out that P4 CPUs can run a lot hotter. I now have my warning limit set to around 80. I've never seen a warning since.
