Waking up MSI K8T-Neo

I'm having problems with waking up from stand-by mode. It first occured about a week ago. As it just went away, I didn't pay attention to it, but it reoccured today and after I manually reset my PC, I got a message that BIOS is corrupt and I had to set it manually. Does anyone know what's going on? Is there a BIOS or Windows (I suppose power-management related) option I should pay attention to? The machine's in my sig, OS is Windows 2000 Professional SP4.
