mx518 & raser diamondback

friend of mine was looking at these 2 mices
the logitech mx518 and raser diamondback plasma
l have mx518 and fine it great,but never used the raser,so l said the pro's here what they think.he's buying this weekend,told him l let him know

the Logitech G5 is released at the end of the month, which will work over both with ease. So i'd wait a bit.

i have the 518 at the moment.. never tried the razer one eather so i have no idea :-) but this mouse is great!

Yea, just wait for the Copperhead to come out, and see what people say in the way of G5 vs. Copperhead. Both the MX518 and Diamondback use the same optical sensor, and the G5 and the Copperhead use the same optcal sensor, too, to the hardware performance won't be a factor. The only way to decide is what software has the features you want in a mouse and the feel of the mouse itself.

i used to be a MSFT keyboard/mouse fan......then one day, i was introduced to the world of Logitech

actually the best gaming mouse i have used is a $10 aspire mouse. it was soo accurate and smooth...

I'm not joking either... I use a MX700 for daily tasks, and an MX310 for games, and it no where compares to the cheap aspire mouse.

l have both mx1000 and mx518,518 is great in gaming,told him this,he even tryed my 518 and liked it,think he will go for 518 as its cheaper than g5 mouse.told him if he waited ,would give him my 518 when l upgrade to g5
