ASUS A8V Deluxe rev.2.0 Overclock
Hi, I wanna overclock my CPU but I have seen in Bios that I don't have a multiplier option. Now is working at 1800(9x200) MHz and I was thinking to put the multiplier from 9 -> 10, to have it on 2000Mhz or more ... but
![]() Can some one give me an advice??? Thx a lot ... |

Raise the frontside bus in 5 MHz increments.
This means instead of say 100 x 10 = 1000 MHz You want to do this: 100 x 11 = 1100 MHz But you can do that by doing this 110 x 10 = 1100 MHz. See? |

First of all I wanna thank you for your reply.
My problems are : 1. If I wanna have access to CPU's multiplier value I must put Cool N' Quit on Disable. 2. I set it C n' Q on disable but the maximum value of multiplier is 9, why ????? Thx a lot for your help . |

1. Normal behavior
2. Because the maximum multiple for that CPU is 9, and its locked. The A64's re multiplier unlocked going downwards for CnQ functions, but locked upwards at the max value |
