Memory muddle

Right for chrimbo am gettin the pentium sli board by asus the p5nd2 sli it says it can take 240-pin ddr 2 ram, can this also accept 184 pin without damaging it? can i change the voltages and stuff? its just a bought sum ocz platinum on friday for £189 an ma bird decided to order me this board, am gettin ma second 6800xt next week 2 so al b flyin. any help plz send me a private message

I don't see why a DDR2 board would accept DDR1, they're electrically incompatible as well as physically incompatible

There are only a handful of Socket T boards that will accept DDR1. So I think you're SOL.
