The Inquirer: Nvidia GeForce 7800GTX 512MB at 550/1800MHz (!?)
Not seen this posted here yet, its from The Inquirer so take how you will (heavy on the salt).
http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=27368 Basically a 512MB 7800GTX using Samsung 1.1ns memory clocked at 1.8GHz with a 550MHz 24 pipeline core. Should help to break the virtual performance deadlock between the current 7800GTX and X1800XT cards. Hopefully be available sometime in November and will likely cost a pretty penny. The figures do seem a tad over the top so im not entirely convinced the article is accurate but you never know. If it does make it to market in anything like the form quoted above, it should be mighty fast.
