Nvidia 7800 GS
I recently picked up this card to try to up my framerate in World of Warcraft,
it doesn't seem like it's helping as much as I would expect, I'm still getting ~5 fps in raid zones etc, is this normal? I have over a gig of ram and a 3+ghz p4 chip. Running out of ideas here. |

Install chipset drivers
![]() EDIT: On a more serious note hmmm... Okay, first of all, try and install all the drivers (use driver cleaner and all) and see if that works. If not, I can really advise a format and you slowly update your PC correctly (BIOS, Mobo, Vid, Sound, Programs). Raids = CPU not GPU so well, you didn't NEED to buy the 7800GS

Well, I myself have the eVGA 7800 GS, normal not OC'd, and i am disappointed in its performance aswell. I would format and all but I can't find my windows cd. Usually the fps willl drop 50~100fps depending on whats going on. In WoW, I can stand in IF at the AH and get onl 8fps, roughly....thats worse than the x800 that I borrowed from my cousins broken PC.
