New user, needs help with 6800 GS OC.

Ive recently started having problems with my video card, at first i left the computer on so i could go down to the store and get something to eat. When i came back it was off, ive figured my ferret got on the keyboard again and hit the power off button. I booted up the Pc, it was going normally, the windows loading screen came up then the blue window came up " Xp " Then the screen just turned pink with pixel like frames that covered the whole screen, It then rebooted and the screen turned black. Afterwards ive rebooted it again, figured it was just a one time thing. So when i rebooted again, it happened again. The same problem. I reinstalled window's and began to install the drivers, as soon as i was finished installing the drivers " At the last part " It happened again. So the issue kept presenting it self after countless start ups, then i went into safe mode, removed the drivers that Nvidia issued " 84.1 i believe " Then the computer rebooted normally without any video card drivers. Ive tried omega drivers, installed them but the video card doesnt seem to have any drivers thus i couldnt play any games. So im really confused as to what i should do here, this never occured before and i just brought this video card like three months ago.

Any ideas or solutions?

Make sure that you use DriverCleaner Pro to clean out old driver junk between different driver installations. And Omega's 66.93 set shouldn't work for your card since it wasn't out when that particular set was released... So try something else like DHzer0point.
