Driver - 6800GS
What driver would be most suitable for the 6800gs and if I were to unlock the pipelines? Thanks

If I do use rivatuner and get the extra pipelines, which would be a better oc to use? The one on the rivatuner or on the nvidia drivers?

You have to plug in 12v to your CPU??? And as for your other questions... You can use RivaTuner for unlocking the pipelines, but as for overclocking, the nVidia Control Panel and RivaTuner will work the same.

Yes. you MUST plug in the power to the video card. If your motherboard has one, then you'll have to plug it in there, too

thanks for the reply, I was wondering which version of dhzp driver would be suitable for the 6800gs? Also, if I do use that would it be wise/compatible to use it w/ coolbits? Thanks again

You can use most of the latest DHzer0point releases since they should all support the 6800GS. I would say just go with our latest, the 84.43.
![]() The drivers already come with "coolbits", so you don't have to worry about that. Coolbits is actually not very special, even though people make it out to be. All it really is is a set of registry keys that enable the nVidia control panel's overclocking options and such.
