grapfic,mb,cpu?

Okey, First of all I would just say how much I hate my computer, and the explanation is that I have terrible FPS in all kind of games, CS, DaoC, WoW, Oblivion. You name it. I have also tried to find a reason for this, or a solution which I havn't succeded to.

I'm for sure that my temp is normal because in idle temp its : Cpu 46*C and HDD 46*C, and when playing games it does not overide 55*C. Next thing you probaly wonder is if i have downloaded latest drivers for grapfic card, mobo, chipset, diretcX etc as I also already have done. Then lets move to the specc Ive got, and here it comes :

Intel Pentium 4 3.0 ghz,
MB Fujitsu-Siemens D1627
DDR 2gb RAM
Nvidia 7800 GS (which is a high-performance card)

And of course the AGP speed is 8x and this is a computer that I bought from fujitsu sieamens so I havn't "trixed" anything myself.

If there is anything else you need to know about the specc?
And by the way I know that people with the same specc that I have can run same games as I do perfectly without low FPS. ( and please there is nothing wrong with my connection, router, spyware, maleware, virus, etc)

If there are anyone out there that think they got a decent answear for my little problem here, please dont be shy , it would be nice to hear from you!
Thanks!

honestly how long have you had windows installed? it might be time to format and start fresh. I have to do that atleast once every 9 months or so.

When playing games such as Dark age of camelot, dungeon siege 2, oblivion, diablo2, world of warcraft my fps drops down to 1-5 when its getting crowded and much is happeing at the same time. Which makes it very boring to play.

And because its a computer from fujitsu siemens they have all necessary drivers on their homepage and you can get it by just entering the computers serial number or what motherboard you are using.

It isn't that bad of a PC, needs tweaking probably. What kind of ram? what speed/timing?

Also check for spyware, viruses, etc..

And get latest drivers from hardware manufacturers, not the PC manufacturer.

needs tweaking ? Doubt it, and my ram is PC3200 (200 Mhz) - DDR-400

and did you not read that I already checked to spyrware, virus etc and said my computer was free from that? And why would I not use drivers from the manufacturer? You think that they would put up some bad drivers just so everybody will have bad performance?

yes i asked you guys for help, but this was like the first thing i tried, and btw i had a radeon 9800 before this card i got now, and it was ppl that told me the only way to get good fps was to buy a new card, so that's why I bought the nvidia 7800 GS, but still no difference, perhaps a little, but not as much as everybody told me. I dont want to blame you for trying to help but just want to tell everyone my "problem" here is a bit more complicated then software I think.

I'm a paying customer of f-secure and if its beacuse of their program I will start the whining ^^ , but are you really sure I need to formate? I just tried to start windows witout and auto-start applicanton but still no difference.....

oh well, I have ordered a new motherboard, processor and controller (did few days ago) and will test it and see if there is any difference. When i get my wage I will go take it out, but have to wait till the 25:th before I get my money. So if that doesnt solve it I will take a hammer and go mad :P
