Reports on 7950GX2 artifacts?
Does anyone know if theres been any reports on bad 7950GX2 like the 7900 series with artifacting in games and random lockups?

I have one and havent run into a problem yet. I think it uses laptop cores though.

Well, I tried to overclock this beast and got it up to 580 on GPU and 800 on the MEM. Problem is that it gets seriouslly hot. About 97-99 degrees celcius. Could almost boil water on that thing. Though the slowdown threshhold is at 122C, do you think my temps seem fairly okey??

Im not entirely sure man. I know mine idle's at like 62-65. what brand did you buy?

The board is an ASUS. I am having round 30C in my room so... Still tops around 95C on one of the cores according to Everest. And that's after 3 loops with 3DMark06 "maxed out".
Just wanna know if the card can take such high temperatures since I can't get any better cooling for my case versus noise level. |
