Well being as I'm new to Overclocking, I'm sure this is problem caused by my lack of experience. I've just recently tried to overclock my eVGA 6800GT, but found I had no headroom for any overclock. After bumping up the memory and core by 5% I instantly noticed artifacts in game. If anyone could help me out, I'd much appreciate it. Here are my specs:
AMD 3800+ Winchester ASUS A8N Sli-Deluxe MOBO 2GB Kingston Hyper X RAM eVGA 6800GT (NV5 Silencer Rev.2 VGA cooler) 550Watt Antect TP PSU

update
I found on another forum that by simply bumping up the PCI-e bus it allows for a larger overclock. Sure enough I set it to 105MHz and now I'm stable at 6800Ultra speeds. I hope this can help others.
