Sad Texture problem with newer drivers

hi.. anybody else noticed the txtures in games got blurry (or lost some resolution at distance) when upgrading to the newer nvidia drivers? This is esp the case in HALO (as well as all other games). For example, if you look at the rotating ring that you see before you start a game, I notice that txtures on the most distant part of the ring appeare to be in 'low res' (blurry). And only the much closesr txtures are 'high res'.I can't remember what driver i was using (3*.** something) but the distant txtures were fine. But when i up graded to newer drivers tho, thats when the txtture quality of distant objects went really crappy. I then installed the OMEGA nvidia drivers, based on verson 66.93 and my graphics have never been better. Problem is, the 66.93 drivers have no coresponding Stereo3D glasses driver.CAN ANYBODY HELP!!! I don't mind using the NVIDIA drivers, just so long as i can stop or turn off what ever it is that makes the txtures lose resolution on distant objects.Someone must know what the problem is, or at lest experienced it first hand them selfs? Is there a solution? or are l8r NVIDIA drivers just rubbish?

You can try Omega's 61.77 drivers in conjunction with this: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dstereo_61.77.html
However, I have read that the 61.77 stereo 3D drivers are very buggy. You might want to try the 71.84 or 71.89 version.
