Get the 7600

Reason: Support for SM 3.0

Um, they both support SM 3.0. But still get the 7600GT. It beats out the 6800GT in almost every benchmark I've seen.

FYI I went from the 6800 to the BFG 7800GS OC and gained 3000 points with Future Mark 2003. Not to bad..

7600GT a little faster than 6800GS, so I think in real games (specially high resolutions + AA) 6800GT or Ultra would be faster, coz 6800 have 256 bit DDR3 (128 bit in 7600GT)

As long as you get a 7600GT, you'll be good to go.

That's the card I'd get for AGP if I was sticking with Nvidia.

But the 7600 GT is okie.

If you don't mind going ATI, the X1950 Pro AGP is a fanny kicker. Comes in 256 and 512 meg configs and just BLOWS away anything else on AGP.
