8800GTX problem

Hello,
This is my first post here, and I have a question. I see that many of you have these cards, so lets continue. I have a ASUS 8800GTX 768mb, the card works great, but my graphics suck. I have AA, AF etc set to max and quality set to "High Quality". Here are my system
specs:

ASUS 8800GTX 768mb
XR 3GB DDR400 RAM
Winfast 6100RMK MOBO
AMD Athlon FX-60 Duel Core 2.6ghz
Western Digital 160GB HD 7200RPM
Windows Vista Premium

I believe its a driver issue, but don't know the best up-to-date drivers for my card. Help fixing this would be great.!!

Welcome to DH.

Could you elaborate on what you mean by "suck". Is there distortion? Color issues? ect. If you could post a screen shot, that would greatly help. Also, give us a list of the games you are experiencing problems with and tell what driver you are using.

Than RAM configuration might give some performance issues in terms of how fast it works. Since it looks like no dualchannel mode.

I will get screenies when I get home. But here is some more info. I use the driver version 101.70 from ASUS. I get bad quality as in, jaggies, blurries and FPS are very low, like 20-30. The ram is duel channel, two 512s and two 1Gs. I play FSX, FS9, (Both flight sims), Call of Duty AW, HL2 etc.

That's an older driver. Update to the newest version available from NVidia.com under their download drivers section.

If your Motherboard has it Did you turn off your integrated graphics ?
Did you make sure you conected to the GTX your monitor ?
perhaps you need to adjust the resolution you are using and make sure it is the optimum resolution for the monitor you are using.
all these things should help- you might also want to upgrade your motherboard and cpu - AMD was on top for about a year or slightly more
but now intel has left AMD light years Behind - dont be loyal to any one cpu or gpu manufacturer just buy the cpu and gpu that have the best performance - competeion is why we have such great chips today.
Take Care
