Theatre mode tv-out

Hiyas.. I have an asus geforce 8800gts 640mb and would really like to know how to set up double displays in theatre mode now that I have connected my old 4:3 TV to the s-video connector.. I can just get it to run in clone mode or span desktop mode, but I would like to have it like in my radeon card where it just showed the media player view a-la theatre mode..

Please don't tell me its still fucked up like when I had a gf3 and had to buy tvtool to get tv-out to work? I mean comeon the 8800 is like several generations of cards ahead they cant be that stoneage still??

It's my understanding that the current NV drivers and the 8800 series cards don't support full screen video output on a client monitor. Even with third party tools like Avid, this doesn't seem to work. You might be out of luck. I'll search a bit more, but things look grim.

Just my luck.. I really thought nvidia had fixed this shit since I had a gf3 card.. I now wov to NEVER buy another gforce card again EVER..
