Compatible 8600GT xxx heatsinks
I just ordered my new XFX 8600GT xxx and it runs fine. The only thing I don;t like about it is the syock heatsink. It idles at 50-53 Celcius and I want it to run cooler. Does anyone have any idea what aftermarket heatsinks are compatible with my gpu? I've heard the Accelero S1 is a possible match but am not positive. Thanks!

The Accelero S1 appears to work on the 8600gts xxx (according to Newegg), so I'd imagine it works with your card. At that price it seems a good buy.

heres what you do, return the 8600GT, return the heatsink and order yourself a shiny 8800GT 256mb card or ATi HD 3850 256mb
