SLI help & advice

I have a chance to get another eVga 8800GTX for around $460. I have a x6800 core 2 chip, 4 gigs of ram,eVga 680i A1 motherboard, 20 inch monitor. I was wondering if I should get the second card or wait for the new G92's and get a single one. Any advice positive or negative would be greatly appreciated. Was wondering if SLI is worth it. Thanks

On a 20" monitor there probably isn't much point doing either, but at the moment given the announcements about nVidia's 9800 series I would just get another GTX and SLI them if you really feel the need!
