8600 GTS OC - Machine wont boot, processor fan at 100%
The subject says it all.
My 6600 GT works just fine, but when I plug in the 8600, my processor fan stays at 100% and no video is transferred to my monitor. I have an HP Pavilion a1250n and I've had it since Dec 2005. This is mind boggling. I have no idea what could be causing this. |

Nothing at all? This is depressing. I haven't found anything on Google about it yet.

Neighborhood screw up.

Might be a bad card. Try RMAing it?

This is the second card this has happened with. It seems to be isolated to my system.

I havent really totaled it all up, but I think my power supply may be a little low (300W). I'm gonna try upgrading and see what comes of it.

300W is a bit too low for that card. 450W is more suited.
