Hi everyone I'm Seif and I'm new in here
![]() Recently I bought a new Computer: Intel Quad Core 9300 2.5GHZ 4 GB RAM Geforce nvidia 9800gt 512MB windows vista home edition 32bit sp1 Every time I try to run a game (DMC4, COD4, GRID etc) it stucks after a while and sometimes the monitor shut down. I have a 450w power supply. A friend of mine says 9800gt requires 400w so it may be tyhe problem. Is that true? or the problem is with the video card itself? |

Re: help!!! 9800 gt problem
I know a 9800GTX requires a Minimum of a 500 watt PSU and it Recommended requirements is a 600W psu.
I don't think there is too much difference from the 9800Gt you are using. By time the other parts have been added..IE:CPU / Memory / HDD's / Optical Drives / Motherboard etc that all require power from the 450W psu. Its looks like it's a sure bet that youre PSU is stuggling to supply the juice required. |
