NVIDIA GeForce 7100/NVIDIA nForce 630i any good?

So I got this new computer a while back, and yeah. It came with this graphics card and it is completely horrible at 3D games.

Its a GeForce 7100/NVIDIA nForce 630i

I just refreshed the Windows Experience Index and for the "Desktop Performance for Windows Aero" is 2.1

Yeah.. Anyone help? Like, know how I can make it better graphics?

I can barely even play Runescape HD in it, and that game is like..... yeah

Is it because im running Vista?

Oh, and Hi. Im new, never been part of a forum group before..

It's a low end integrated graphics card, so yes, it's crap. To get better graphics you'll have to buy a better card.

you can get the 8 or 9 geforce versions it depends on how much you want to spend... whats your computer specs?

Like.... Its 64-bit vista.. Acer, i'd have to look into it i'll post all the info when i get on it, im on my dads (which freaking owns)

i would suggest something like the 9500GT for a fairly decent card that's sub $100

As would I. It's also worth noting that a poor processor, ram or internet connection could be more of an issue for something like runescape.

well, it looks like the 9500GT cards be had for under $75. i'd go with a better known brand company though in terms of of a product though. like MSI, EVGA, Gigabyte, etc.

yea i think it might be because of vista considering ive got that card on xp and my computer runs realy good it could also be that the other specs of the computer are bad.

No, it's almost certainly not because of Vista, at least not mainly.

Also, this thread is dead, and the starter now has a new graphics card in his specs anyway!

Hey i am in a bit of a sticky situation too, I am looking for a new desktop pc and i have found a really good one. Quad 2.5ghz Prossers and 4gb of ram, but the graphics card worries me as it is a "NVIDIA GeForce 7100 integrated graphics processor" and i want ot be able to play games such as Starcraft 2, Would anyone with more knowledge on this be able to help me.

That PC doesn't sound like a great deal to me. It sounds like some random piece of crap with a quad core and some extra RAM thrown in. But start a new thread for a new topic.

Incidentally, the GPU mentioned is not a graphics card, it's an onboard solution, and while it's ok for what it is and for its age, no you won't be playing any good looking games. Also, don't assume that you will be able to just slot a better graphics card into an OEM PC.
