Ahh! I got a Nvidia GeForce 9600 gso!?

I got it for x-mas, for the computer we got as a early-early x-mas gift, and it only had a 7100 on it or something..

So how much better you think it'll be? lol, I can't use it yet we need to get a different power supply or something... nothing is ever that easy though

It's a really nice card, sometimes even faster than a 9600GT (92 SP vs. the 64 of the GT).

You also can overclock it like an insane and manage to get great results.

You can look for reviews on the internet (remember that this card is just a 8800GS with a different name, so you can also look for 8800GS ).

What brand is the card of?

The 9600 should be massivley faster than the 7100 or any other similar solution.

Depending on your resolution, that thing should last you a while.

Don't skimp on the power supply!

you have it all wrong gso only has 48 while a gt has 64 both good cards but a gso isnt faster then gt....

But yeah we got a new power supply, like a [brand] Ultra 650 pro power supply 650 watts or sumthin cool like that..

ANNDDD the card is XFX SLI ready and it sounds amazing and it works amazing..

my brother is DL'ing the Crysis demo and I was playing BF2 and it worked awesomely.

Sorry, no. The 9600GT is almost always faster than the 9600GSO because the GT has a 256bit bus to the GSO's 192. However, you will very occasionally see the GSO pull away at lower resolutions and settings due to its 96 SPs, compared to the GT's 64.
