Nvidia 7100

Greetings, I just got this computer with Vista Home Premium 64-bit, Pentium Dual-Core 2.50Ghz E5200, and the Nvidia 7100 Graphic card. I dont play any PC games except a lil of Maple Story. I was told that this graphic card would be sufficient to run better than my previous one ATi Radeon 200. The Frames Rates are no higher than 16.xx which is less than with my ATi card which gave me solids 40.xx. If i lower the graphic to 0 it'll run at 40.xx Frames but that wasnt the idea... Cuz my older computer was doin same or better than this new one, i was looking for an upgrade not a downgrade.

Is there any way to make it run a lil faster?

Thanks in Advance

Re: Nvidia 7100

do you mean the 2000 series if so its better then the 7100...how much ram do you have in your new computer? because vista needs a good amount of ram to run it good...

Re: Nvidia 7100

Without posting full specs of both your old and new computers its hard to tell exactly what would be the best for you to do.
That said, the Geforce 7100 is pants. No word of a lie, While an E5200 with 2GB+ of RAM is more than sufficient for anything any game as long as your realistic with what you can expect.
Consider upgrading your graphics card
Novatech GeForce 9500GT SLI 512MB GDDR2 TV-Out/DVI PCI-Express - Retail Graphics Card wi : NOV-95GT5
the 9500GT would be a cheap upgrade, and while i dont know Maplestory this card should be more than capable of handeling this game with reasonable settigns. And will play any game on the market at the moment with reasonable FPS at low-medium settings. Something that cannot be claimed with the 7100.
