Is my Geforce 8600 dead?

So last night after I was done with some gaming a decided to turn off my computer.

This morning I wake up and it's still on and the fan on my GPU is on at full speed. Now whenever I turn on the PC the fan starts working at full speed and nothing appears on the screen. I tried taking it out and my Integrated card seems to work fine as well as this other PCI-E ATI x500 card...

For now I took it out and hopefully letting it cool off or something will help. When I took it out though it wasn't super hot like it usually is when I was gaming with it.

HOLY CRAP! Here's an update. Also when I turn on my computer now, the startup screen has a completely different look. And the computer for some reason told me the floppy drives fail so I went into BIOS and disabled them since I don't have them. I don't remember if I ever had it enabled.

The BIOS version still seems to be correct since I remember upgrading it to 3.03 and it still is, but it went from beng a Compaq boot up screen with white and red and changed to an HP invent screen that's all blue. WTF!!!!! Something happened to the BIOS as well... I tried reflashing the BIOS and it's still the same thing.

BTW here's a link to something that seems to be what I have had happen.

LOL if anyone's wondering, it's fixed now.

It had a busted capacitor and now it's replaced.
