Can I get 1440x900 with mx/mx400? (newcomer)

I'm on Windows XP SP2 (moving to SP3 soon).

This pc has a Nvidia Geforce2 Mx/Mx400 with 32mb.

I have installed Nvidias latest drivers but the specs pdf shows that this set of drivers don't support 1440x900.

I want to use this monitor:

monitor LCD SM 943NW - LCD - monitores | SAMSUNG

Will I be able to get 1440x900 with Omega Drivers, for example?

Thanks in advance,

Frandroid

i honestly am not sure, i had the card once, a long time ago, it might but i only had a monitor with a res of 1280x1024.

anyways the thing so old that quite literally, anything on the market now can do what you want and outperform that card.

1280*1024=1310720 1440*900=1296000

1440x900 is actually less pixels than 1280x1024 so yeah it can.

I get 1600x1200 with that card and stock drivers on a 19" CRT.... it's what I'm using right now. Obsolete but it still works. Don't know about 1440x900, it might.

EDIT: Actually I just set it to 2048x1536 ..... tiny fonts but it works.....
