hd4850x2 or gtx260+physX

Hi guys, i am helping a friend upgrading his rig.

And question is what is better a hd4850x2 or a gtx260 + a 9400gt for PhysX?

it really depends on what your friend plays...

the 4850x2 is a great deal faster than the GTX260 and you wont feel any improvement from the 9400GT unless the game is a PhysX game

id go with the 4850X2 but thats me

OKay. thanks. And i have actually seen a guide in how to set up a nvidia card as a physX card in a ati configuration on windows 7. so maybe i will do that.

Now that could be a good choice... From what i have seen online Windows 7 is the first OS that allows this set up without any major problems..

So hopefully you will make a good choice on that works for you..
