agp 4x/8x card on agp 2x slot

im planning to buy a new display card next week

system config

p3 550 mhz
zida bxi98 atx motherboard with agp 2x slot
384 mb sd ram 133 mhz
riva tnt2 m64 32mb display card

im planning to buy a digicolor geforce fx 5200 64 mb ddr card

will it work on my system

does the card support agp 2x

if it's not out of budget i'd avoid the fx5200 if you find other posts on this forum i havent seen a good word about that card.if possible you can afford a little more go for something a little faster than that!

for just a little more than double the cost you would get a better card with 128mb.

just a bit of advice
